Adult Members
The 2024 annual membership fees (January to December) with DFBC is $85. This membership fees includes DFBC membership and Badminton WA registration fees. This fee is not negotiable.

Association Liability Insurance policy to ensure that there is adequate insurance cover:
General Public Liability insurance cover that protects the Club and its Members from effects of negligence whilst undertaking club activities
Professional Liability / Indemnity insurance cover that protects your Club and its professionally qualified individual members (e.g., coaches or court officials) from effects of their professional negligence whilst undertaking club activities
Management Liability insurance cover (including standard Director and Officers Liability) that protects your Club and its Office Bearers (President, Chairperson, Secretary, Committee members), organisers and employees for their personal liability arising from undertakings in their official club capacity
Personal Accident insurance cover for club members (players, office bearers, organisers etc.) and volunteers
DFBC Membership FEES and Entitlements for ADULTS in 2024
2024 membership covers all DFBC adult sites shown on the website – some sites not available and some sites will cease operating, so to avoid disappointment please email or ring before you attend
$9 per attendance at any DFBC conducted session – the cost may vary at some sites
DFBC Membership will also provide
support, advice, training, and club competitions
training and professional development in organising competitions
assistance with completing mandatory community service hours to graduate
DISCOUNTED
playing fees at venues where DFBC conduct badminton sessions – some sessions have been cancelled
competition fees at DFBC events and Carnivals

COACHING INFORMATION - ADULTS
You are welcome to receive coaching / lessons at the venues and times shown below:
1. LeisureLife Centre, Vic Park – Friday evenings between 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm
2. Cannington Leisureplex – Sunday mornings between 9.00 am to 10.00 am OR 10.00 am to 11.00 am.
3. Hainsworth Community Centre, Girrawheen – Sunday afternoons between 1.15 pm and 2.15 pm or 2.15 pm to 3.15 pm.

STEP UP Badminton assisting Juniors
STEP UP BADMINTON
We invite you to have FUN at our STEP UP junior badminton program that consist of Games, Coaching and Competitions.
The program will concentrate on STEP as shown below:
S – show (demonstrate)
T – train (explain)
E – exercise (health)
P – practice (prepare)
Terms and Conditions for players that participate in the above program
ALL participants agree not to hold any of the program officials (all volunteers) responsible for any damage and / or loss of property and / or accident. In case of accident or untoward incident the parent / guardian / player gives full consent for any necessary medical treatment and agrees to meet any expense incurred.
CONDITIONS
• you can elect to pay the Term fees in FULL or elect to pay visitor fees.
• if a reimbursement is sought for those that have paid the Term fees the junior will be charged visitor fees for weeks attended and the balance will be refunded.
KidSport Vouchers (DFBC is an approved KidSport Club)
KidSport is available to children between five and 18 years who are named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, with up to $500 available per financial year. DFBC accepts and can assist with KidSport vouchers. Parents must send in the voucher code from the KidSport Team, Department of Local Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries to the club.
The breakdown for KidSport funding of $500 is as follows.
• Club Uniform - $25
• Racquet - $25 to $48 (your choice of racquet)
• Balance applied to fees
Badminton equipment can be purchased at massively discounted prices
You can purchase badminton equipment from the club and receive up to 50% discount.
